Positive: Very quiet and peaceful location. Amazing shower. The cabin is perfect for 1-2 people. Very clean and tidy.
Negative: The walk across the green to reach the cabin. Make sure you have a torch.

Superb cabin with stunning views and woods but not somewhere i would return to
Positive: This cabin is delightful but it is not easy to access if you have mobility issues and sadly the key broke which was a pain and we spent one day of our two night break . It’s very cosy and the woods and views are stunning . The cabin has everything you need and is lovely . The bed is very comfortable. The bathroom was tiny and no sink and the shower needs looking at its temperature wasn’t easy to regulate . The parking is a huge issue for me and if you want bringing dogs and shopping it is a very steep hill and not easy to find . I do think it’s quite pricey for what you actually get and you definitely need a car as there are no shops or restaurants nearby . Slad and Stroud are close by car but this wouldn’t be the place if you don’t drive .
Negative: The parking and getting keys and access to the property and the locks .

Adequate budget accommodation at a premium price.
Positive: The woods behind the garden are beautiful, and the main bedroom is pleasant.
Negative: We had numerous issues with the property, which made us feel that, for the price of £289 for two nights, we would be unable to recommend it to anyone.
A significantly lower price (around £70 a night) would better reflect the property's standards.
– Four adults cannot sleep here (as suggested) because the sofa bed is simply too small for even one adult, and no further mattress was provided. Luckily we had a camping mat in the car for our second child.
– There's no sink or window in the toilet/shower room. The lack of a sink is unsanitary - washing hands after using the loo in the kitchen sink is far from healthy, and the toilet leads straight into the tiny kitchen. It's also impossible to brush your teeth in the kitchen because of the cupboard over the sink.
– The hot water in the shower ran out within 30 seconds on each occasion we tried to use it
– One spare pillow was covered in mould
– There was human hair and food residue on some crockery and cutlery
– A minor point but you have to unplug the toaster to use the kettle.
